From an early age, I wanted a career in the fashion industry, perhaps due to the influence
of my mother and aunts who were very in-tune with fashion. Or maybe it had to do
with living outside of New York City.
After obtaining a degree in Textiles & Apparel, I worked in the Fashion industry for
over 10 years. I have experience as an Accessories Buyer, Assistant Store Manager
and Department Manager for several Specialty stores and a major Department store
in the Washington, DC area. Then my career took a bit of a detour for many years,
but it still focused on providing outstanding customer service. Now I'm back to doing
what I love; fashion.
Many women don't understand that the style they select can make or break an outfit.
Are you “Bigger on the Top” with a closet of soft flowing tops? Do you usually buy
boxy sweaters for your “Not Curvy” body type? Are your accessories overpowering
I have helped many clients in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C area. Is it time
to update your look? Let’s start by shopping in your closet.
"Going shopping in my
closet with Karen was a
lot of fun. She helped me
find uses for accessories
that had just been sitting
around, and combined
clothes I already wear in
fun new ways. As I get
ready for my move to
North Carolina, I feel
confident knowing that I’ll
be starting my new job
and new life in style!"
